Game Procedure

  • The game must start on time!
  • Four skaters and one goalie on the surface at one time.
  • Two 18-minute halves stop time.
  • Coaches are required to have a towel or rag on the bench for cleaning up any spills of water during and after the game.
  • Timekeepers are supplied by the league.
  • Make sure that all players are on the game sheet.
  • Suspended players have to be marked as suspended on the game sheet.
  • Affiliated players must be written on the game sheet with "A" behind their name.
  • Goalkeeper's helmets have to be CSA approved.
  • The teams are to start the game at opposite ends from their benches.
  • There is no offside in the inline game.
  • Clearing (icing) the puck is allowed.
  • One 30 second time-out is allowed per team per game.
  • Minor penalties are 2 minutes.
  • Delayed penalties: if a third player of any team shall be penalized while two players of the same team are serving penalties, the penalty time of the third player shall not commence until the penalty time of one of the two penalized players has elapsed.
  • A sealable water bottle is allowed on top of the goal net only if a towel or a rag is there to wipe up any spills of water from the surface. The goalies are responsible to wipe up the spills themselves or the privilege is taken away.
  • The two teams to play next are only allowed on the surface after all the players from the previous game have left the surface.
